Can I change my banking information?
Yes. The EZpay+ platform provides the facility for users to change their banking information.
If I change my banking information will I have to go through the validation process again?
Yes. This new banking information will then have to go through the process of being validated again before it can be used.
Is there a minimum amount that I can pay with my debit card?
No. There is no minimum amount to be deducted from your debit card.
What does validation of my account mean?
To establish that you are the legitimate owner of that particular bank account.
How long will the validation process take before I can pay online?
The process should not take more than two to three (2-3) days.
How will the payment appear on my bank statement?
It will appear as 'Bill payment and amount deducted.'

Can I add more than one map reference number?
Yes. The EZpay+ platform provides the facility for persons to add and pay multiple map reference accounts. Â
How do I remove a map reference number?
The EZpay+ platform provides the facility to both add and remove service accounts.
Can I pay part payment or do I have to pay the whole outstanding balance?
Yes. You are allowed to pay part payments.
How do I get my official receipt?
The Land Tax Department mails you an official receipt on completion of the online process.

How do you access the EZpay+ Payment Platform?
The EZpay+ platform is accessible through the Barbados Integrated Government (BIG) portal (www.gov.bb) or (www.ezpay.gov.bb)Â where the user must be a registered member with portal user ID.
What is the Portal User ID?
This is a name or a number chosen by the user to identify oneself when logging into the Barbados Integrated Government (BIG) portal.
How do I register as a user on the BIG portal?
You must complete the registration form on the BIG portal ensuring your National Registration Number and your first and last name matches the information on the Electoral and Boundaries list.
Will I have to register in person for a user account?
No. All users of the EZpay+ payment platform are required to register on the Barbados Integrated Government (BIG) portal and submit a valid email address. All contact between the taxpayer and the EZpay+ platform will be made using electronic mail.
How do you access information from the EZpay+ Payment Platform?
To access information from the EZpay+ Payment Platform you must have signed up for the EZpay+ payment service and be the holder of valid account numbers/map reference numbers.
Can I view and pay outstanding debts online?
Yes. The EZpay+ platform provides the facility to display all outstanding arrears where these can be viewed and paid for online.
Will I be able to view my account history?
Yes. All payments made will be available for viewing.
What time does the deadline date ends?
The deadline is 12 midnight so your session must be completed by 12 midnight.
How will I know the transaction was completed successfully?
An email will be sent to you confirming the date of payment, the transaction number and the amount paid.
Is there a fee for paying online?
No. There is no fee for paying online. This service is absolutely free.
Is making an online payment secure?
Measures have been taken to ensure that your electronic transactions with us are secure and that your personal and banking information is protected.
Can anyone gain access to my information?
No. The information relating to your account can only be viewed by authorized persons. Your username and password should not be given to anyone.
Can I pay for someone else?
Yes. You can pay for someone else with their permission.
